Fully battle ready replica of a Scandinavian Bearded Axe dating from Early and High Medieval times. The blade is graded at the bottom, this kind of gradation was called helm roof. With this weapon it was possible to cut through helmets 
Due to its workmanship and material thickness the blade is perfect for battle reenactment. The cutting edge is blunt and the edges have been rounded, to avoid damage to opposing weapons and armour.
It has been left in its unpolished state on purpose for a more rustic and authentic look.
